MTN Ghana, Ghana’s largest telecommunication network has finally announced the return of the zone bundle to its cherished customers.
MTN pulled the curtains on the data zone bundle some weeks ago unannounced. This move frustrated a lot of its users because no prior notice was served.

Pressure from customers demanding an explanation mounted on the telecoms’ management which forced them to release a statement to clarify their decision to suspend the data zone bundle.
MTN Ghana stated that they had to end the service temporarily in order to review the bundle offer so it can be in line with the significant market power (SMP) directives applied to MTN Ghana in June 2020, not to be the lowest priced on any offer in the industry.

In a message received by MTN customers today, the telco has announced the 5th of May 2023 to be the day the MTN Zone bundle is restored. Customers can still purchase their data bundles using the code, *135#

The data bundle has been one of the cheapest offers on the market since its introduction last year.
