Uruguay’s Striker Luiz Suarez has said that he and his teammates will do everything it takes in their upcoming match with the Ghana Black Stars to qualify for the round of 16.
They have failed to secure a 3-point victory after facing South Korea and Portugal. Anything below a win against the Black Stars will see them out of this world cup in Qatar.
Suarez who robbed Ghana of a chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2010 world cup in South Africa has yet again stated that their match against Ghana Would be a do-or-die affair.

“We have one point and the final match against Ghana is do and die. We have no option than to win to make our fans happy”
He further added ahead of Friday’s game that they have been watching our videos and will give our striker a tough time with their porous defence.
“We are going to put our lives and soul in this last match, Ghana is a good team but we know them, we have beaten them before and we know how to beat them again”
“We have watched their video clips and they have a porous defence, we will utilize that to beat them,” he said.

In the 2010 world cup, Ghana faced Uruguay in the quarter-finals. A win would have seen us possibly lift the world cup for the first time but luck wasn’t on our side. Luiz Suarez blocked a goal with his hand leading to a red card and penalty awarded in favour of the Black Stars.
Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s leading goal scorer missed the penalty and broke the hearts of many.
Football enthusiasts and supporters of the Black Stars have said that Ghana’s second time facing the Black Stars will be a revenge match. Hopefully, they won’t slap us without another loss.
