Ghanaian afro beats singer and writer Kidi has made a comeback to social media after battling an unknown illness. It was rumoured that the musician had suffered a stroke after he announced that he was cancelling his North American tour which was expected to come off in March due to some “health issues”.

Social media was set ablaze after rumours that he had suffered a stroke hit Twitter forcing his management team to react to the false news.
“KiDi hasn’t had a stroke. Ignore the rumours and the clickbait,” Richie Mensah of Lynx Entertainment Wrote.

After nearly two months of being away from his fans, Kidi has shared a video on his Twitter and shared some insight on the incidents leading to his absence from social media.

The artiste was expected to tour about 10 cities in the US, including Seattle, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago and Atlanta. In Canada, he was booked to perform in Toronto.
Announcing to his fans why the tour was cancelled about a week before the start of his program, KiDi noted that the decision was inevitable due to some health issues – but he did not elaborate.
