Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been detained in Romania after European arrest warrants were issued by the UK.
Allegations against them, covering 2012 to 2015, include sexual aggression and exploiting people in Great Britain.
The Tate brothers deny all charges and express disappointment over the revival of decade-old accusations without substantial new evidence.
Romanian police said the warrants were issued for sexual offenses, and the brothers were detained for 24 hours pending a decision by the Bucharest Court of Appeal.
A representative for Andrew Tate described the arrest warrant as bewildering and stated that the brothers are committed to challenging the accusations.
This wouldn’t be the first time that the two brothers have been detained and released later on.
He was arrested near Bucharest in December 2022 along with his brother Tristan and two Romanian women and charged with rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women
