Manchester United’s winger Antony Matheus dos Santos has shared WhatsApp chat conversations with one of three women accusing him of assault.
Screenshots of the chat shared were between the footballer and a Brazillian banker known as Ingrid Lana.
Antony is currently facing three counts of assault and one of the victims is his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin.
The three women have accused the winger of abusive behavior.
One of the alleged victims of assault spoke in an interview on the Brazillian show “Domingo Espetacular” where she revealed that the footballer initiated physical intimacy against her wishes and in the process pinned her against the wall.

To counter Lana’s claims in the interview, Antony shared the Whatsapp chat conversations between himself and the woman.
He disclosed that Lana consented to their encounter and was the one who initiated the meeting.
The allegations against him have cost him as United has acknowledged the allegations and delayed his return to the club indefinitely.

Antony (after Ingrid’s audio): It’s a matter of trust, I just find it bad to keep taking screenshots of the screen, that’s not cool, so please delete that. I trust you, but I didn’t think your behavior was cool.
