Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed his determination to remain at Arsenal and maintain his important role within Mikel Arteta’s team.
Despite rumors linking him to top Italian clubs, it appears that Partey is content at Arsenal and wishes to continue his tenure at the club.
However, according to reports from CBS Sports, while Arsenal is working on securing long-term contracts for their key players, they have not yet made any such offers to Partey.
With only two years remaining on his current contract, there have been no indications from Arsenal about extending Partey’s deal. Despite this, the player remains focused on the upcoming season and aims to assist Arsenal in their pursuit of the title.
During the 2022/2023 season, Partey made forty appearances for Arsenal and played a significant role in their second-place finish in the Premier League.
He scored three goals, including a memorable strike against Tottenham. Meanwhile, Arsenal has reportedly shown interest in West Ham midfielder Declan Rice as a potential replacement for Partey, as viewed by Mikel Arteta.
