Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has been included in Sofascore’s top-rated African eleven for the 2022-23 season in Europe’s major leagues.

Salisu, who plays for Southampton, received a rating of 7.04 out of 10 for his impressive performances in the English Premier League.
Despite facing injuries, he was selected for Ghana’s squad in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, featuring in all three group-stage matches and scoring his first international goal in a friendly against Switzerland.
Additionally, he netted his first competitive goal for Ghana during their 3-2 victory over South Korea at the World Cup.
