Sports reporter Listowel Mensah from Angel FM has suggested that Sarkodie, a popular Ghanaian rapper also known off stage as Micheal Owusu Addo, should be apprehended by the police.
This statement comes as a response to actress Yvonne Nelson’s revelation that Sarkodie compelled her to terminate their pregnancy in 2010.

In a tweet, Listowel Mensah argued that Sarkodie should be arrested, citing the criminal offences law and emphasizing that abortion is considered a crime.
He tweeted “Abortion is a criminal offence. Pursuant to Act 29, section 58 of the Criminal Code of 1960,[1] amended by PNDCL 102 of 1985. Crime doesn’t expire, @GhPoliceService. arrest Kabutey now.”
In chapter eight of her book ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’, Yvonne Nelson disclosed that she underwent an abortion due to Sarkodie’s refusal to take responsibility for the pregnancy.

It is unclear what Yvonne Nelson’s intentions were for revealing such personal stuff that could potentially ruin the marriage of the rapper but this isn’t the first time she has attacked Sarkodie’s integrity.
Somewhere last year in May, Yvonne Nelson called out Sarkodie for refusing to help her promote her new movie. The beef between the two seems to have been rotting behind the scene.
