Ghanaian ewe musician, Ayigbe Edem hours ago announced his intention to run for Member of Parliament on the ticket of the largest opposition party, the NDC. He shared a campaign flier on his social media.
His announcement received positive reactions from his fans and supporters. It appears the ewe rapper is uncertain about which political party he should be running under.
The musician released another campaign flier that featured his image on a New Patriotic Party, NPP flier. He captioned the post “4PM: I TAKE A STAND . #Gogetem #Fullyactive“.

Edem’s second announcement has rather garnered negative reactions from his fans and raised questions with some regarding his political ambition as a joke. It wouldn’t be the first time that someone from the entertainment industry has attempted to brunch into politics. Obour and actor John Dumelo attempted this feat and tasted defeat accordingly.
